Learning Meditation

Meditation is the art of looking inside and discovering one's own inner being. Meditation leads us not only to totally new inner experiences, but helps us also to transform our day-to-day life into a better, more meaningful and more fulfilling existence.

This site is aimed to be an introduction into the field of meditation with advice for those learning to meditate. In the beginning it appears there are many different ways to learn how to meditate. However all types of meditation share common ideas such as silencing the mind and revealing our own inner self.

If possible it is good to associate with people who have been meditating for a while, they will be able to inspire and encourage you. If you wish to take meditation seriously it is also advisable to take the guidance of a meditation teacher. However ultimately meditation is something that has to be experienced for yourself. It is only when we meditate ourselves that we become aware of our own hidden inner capacties.
